Verifica dei prerequisiti

An interview is required for all foreign students, and for Italian students with average mark below 27/30. The interview, conducted by a committee of three members of the Study Council, is public and it aims to ascertain the general background knowledge of the student. The interview is also aimed at assessing the knowledge level of the English language (at least B2 required).

You can repeat the verification for admission to the MSc program for a maximum of three times.

If you have one of this following first-level degrees (“Laurea”), issued by the University of Genoa, you satisfy the requirements:

• Naval Architect and Marine Engineer
• Pleasure Craft Engineering

The verification test is aimed at ascertaining the general preparation of the student with reference to the knowledge of fundamental notions of Engineering, in particular with regard to the subjects:

• Naval architecture
• Ship structures
• Ship propulsion plants
• Ship stability
