What commitment and benefits does community service in UniGe entail?

Civil service is an opportunity for growth and training. For a commitment of 25 hours a week on 5 days a week for a year, you can take advantage of:

  • a tax-free refund of €507.30 per month
  • a certificate of acquired skills usable in the labour market
  • training credits that can be used in your university course of study
  • a possible recognition of the civil service course as a curricular traineeship
  • .

The civil service year is also redeemable for social security purposes and guarantees those who complete the course 15% of reserved places in all public competitions, thus representing the ideal pathway for those who wish to work in the public administration in the future.

The civil service course is also eligible for the civil service award.
