After completing the course, students acquire the teaching techniques and tools for the management of activities sports with people experiencing disability; and he knows the various types of deficit: physical, intellectual, relational, sensory. The student, assessing the importance, acquires a higher level of emotional awareness, which is critical in the management of relational dynamics with persons with disabilities. The student learns the different communication techniques aimed at the activities; mobility management; also through the presence of a part of theoretical intervention to take place in classroom and a part of practical intervention to be carried out at the gym. The student also knows and acquires the various methods of sport and not adapted, and the following activities' unstructured sports: objectives, design and situations, content, assessment. Finally, the student knows the rules and is able to use and adapt the teaching method of team play in several deficits, including through appropriate management of engine work with people with disabilities, paying particular attention to the dynamics of relationships and communication in the conduct of engines interventions for people with deficiency (mental, physical and sensory). The student will then be able to design, conduct and management of sports and physical activity programs adapted, identifying integration as a primary goal of all interventions aimed at people with disabilities; and socio-emotional empowerment as a tool to give the motivation to be promoters of their welfare.

Frontal lesson, lectures laboratory activities. Educational visits to specialized facilities. Seminars with experts in the field of disability and / or disabled athletes.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Disability: Physics; Intellectual-Relational; Sensory. Methodology of Physical Education and Sports adapted: unstructured activities: objectives, design and planning, management method of unstructured situations, content, assessment. semi-structured activities: objectives, design and planning, management method of semi-structured situations, content, assessment. Psychomotor approach; The team games: rules, methods of teamwork. Organization of educational activities with disabled people. Relationship and communication with different disabilities (mental, physical and sensory). Integration / inclusion and well being as a primary objective with disabled people. sport and disabled people: Historical notes on sports adapted in Italy and in the world. From sports medicine to the functional classification of disability; The motor skills; and motor learning in the visually impaired. Types and characteristics of the Paralympic sports for people with disabilities physical, mental, sensoriale.Physical activity and Sport for people with disabilities intellectual and relational.
