The purpose of the course is to prvide the students with the basics of energy buildings and plant analysis using existing legislation and the currently available calculation software .
The course dealt with themes characteristic of the thermo-physical building analysis, such as energy exchanges through the building envelope , calculation of energy needs , techniques for energy saving , renewable technologies and energy certification of buildings for civil and industrial use.
Building envelope. Losses and the energy supplies analysis. Opaque and transparent components : static thermal characterization , verification of the dynamic behavior and humidity . Climate data . Determination of the ideal energy demand for summer and winter air conditioning . Calculation of free thermal loads . Factors shading . Calculation of the free contributions. Emission , control , distribution , generation efficiency. Determination of primary energy demand for summer and winter air conditioning of traditional generation systems and alternative generation systems. Heat pumps. Development of a case study.
UNI / EN / ISO s11300 / 1,2,3,4 . National and regional legislation on energy efficiency ( Legislative Decree 192/2005 and subsequent amendments , Presidential Decree 412 ). Course notes provided by the teacher.
