The course proposes the physical and aerodynamic modeling of the sail propulsion and the sailing boat modeling. General principles of Physics and Fluid-dynamics are presented, giving also a correlation with sail materials and techniques for sails construction. Theorical lessons are combined with practical classes, possibly also with laboratory activities .
