At the end of the module, students must demonstrate the learning of project metodhology and development, as well as communication tools such as:
- definition of the reference and target scenario;
- research and analysis;
- ideation;
- elaboration and editing of graphic works;
- use of sketches, technical drawings and models for the development of the project;

Teaching is organized into different and complementary activities, the main ones are:
- theoretical lectures and seminars

- laboratory with project activity.
The design theme addresses the theoretical and design issues related to the design of public and / or private spaces on board for yachts and is updated annually. Generally, the first part of the module is dedicated to the knowledge of the state of the art and to the definition of the project requirements, while the second part of the module is oriented towards the development of a project.
