AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course aims to train experts in the field of midwifery. The course aims to provide a specific basis for basic materials needed for the student's education. The student will learn the fundamental skills necessary for the understanding of the biological basis and principal pathophisiology concepts of the General Pathology and Immunology presented during the course. 

TEACHING METHODS

Frontal lectures.
The course consists of 24 hours of training activities, lectures on the topics of the program. It is required at least 75% of the hours of frontal lectures.

3. CANCER

      Classification and malignant characters
      staging systems and gradation
      chemical carcinogenesis, physical and biological
      Metabolism and activation of carcinogens
      Initiation, promotion, progression
      Invasiveness and metastasis
      Oncogenes and tumor suppressor
      Outline of tumor markers.
