    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    To acquire the ability to orientate in the psychiatric professional field with experimentation of the ability to approach in this field.
    To acquire basic professional competences.
    To acquire the ability to make an observation (structured or not) of the environment and the patient, through observational interactions with the patient, self-observation, effective communication with the user and the team

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    The teaching aims to implement through the laboratory activities knowledge and skills, related to know,know-how and know how to be, defined in the specific objectives and  learning outcomes of the module first year training

    TEACHING METHODS

    The workshop is annual and includes active teaching methods and direct participation of students in individual activities, in small groups and in large group. You can use:
    - specific lessons, exercises
    - exercises with simulations on relational skills
    - guided reading and application to case studies
    - demonstrations of images, diagrams and materials, graphs
    - case discussion
    - discussion of cases in sub-groups with presentations in plenary sessions
    - simulations and role playing
    - observation of dialogues with structured grids
    - self-learning

     

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    The following contents will be discussed in the workshop activities, with specific reference to the psychiatric therapeutic-rehabilitation field:

    The relationship
    The comunication
    Direct and structured observation
    The instruments of observation
    Proposition of different instruments for structured observation

    RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY

    Didactic material will be provided, together with instruments for structured assessment.
    Students are encouraged to research scientific articles, texts or evaluation tools on their own account, so as to facilitate autonomous capacity for active research and study.

    Eligibility

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    Evaluation in progress regarding participation in the practical tests of laboratory activities and the progressive acquisition of skills. Final evaluation through a test with open and closed questions concerning the contents of the laboratory practice and / or paradigmatic situations of professional practice, related to the contents themselves. In addition to understanding, the ability to apply the transversal and specific skills acquired will be ascertained
