AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The workshop intends to develop the skill about:

- defining the theme, the question and the research hypotheses,

- elaborating the theoretical and cultural framework of an educational research,

- developing the skill to define a research design

- defining the participants or the sample

- analyzing and discussing data critically

- communicating the results of the research

TEACHING METHODS

The workshop will use active and participatory teaching methods.

Students will be involved using group-works, simulations, case analysis and the following moments of reflection on the action. 

Aulaweb wil be used for teacher to upload some files and for student to support your personal path and sharing some files with the group.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

The "Metodologia della ricerca educativa e didattica (Laboratorio)" is focused on the structuring of a research design in the educational field.

The workshop will allow for in-depth study of the methods, definition of the question, construction of the sample, first analysis and discussion of the data. Among the different aspects of the research process, the survey tools (focus groups, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, observational methods) will be examined, paying attention, also, to their use as resources to improve the quality of the didactic action.
