Empirical research in education in recent years has expanded considerably and today is no longer only research professionals but all the operators involved in the educational process, training and education. "Doing" research is a strategic competence for all operators wishing to improve in terms of quality and effective up its interventions and, more generally, the facilities in which they are engaged.
The course "Methodology of Research in Education" is aimed at structuring a research design in education pointing out the types, methods, the definition of the research questions, the tools, the construction of the sample, the analysis and discussion of the data, communication of research by simulating the presentation of a paper at a conference
Training objectives: to develop the ability to design a research design, use different models of educational research, develop a theoretical framework, define the theme and research problem (in kindergarten and primary school) develop research questions and hypotheses, to define the participants and the sample, knowing how process some of qualitative and quantitative analysis tools, analyze and critically discuss research data, communicate a search.
Frontal lessons, individual tutorial and in small groups, case presentations and research, simulations.
The course of educational research methodology is aimed at structuring a research design in education with particular emphasis on the analysis of the narratives (focus groups, semi-structured interview, narrative interview, in-depth interview, biographical interviews, analysis of educational documents, analysis audio tracks, analyzes movies etc.).
Will be presented: the educational research types, methods, the definition of the research questions (with specific reference to the kindergarten and primary school), the tools, the construction of the sample, the analysis and discussion of qualitative and quantitative data, the communication of research by simulating the presentation of a paper at a convention or a report to search customers
