OVERVIEW

“ Metodologia del gioco e dell’animazione (laboratorio)” offers a firsthand discovery of the game world through many facets. Therefore you can make significant experiences which aim at question yourself about what game actually is and at became aware of the “complexity” of this educational tool.

AIMS AND CONTENT

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of the laboratory and in synergy with the course, the students should be able to: - use game and animation methodologies inside of the school to encourage achievement of curriculum objectives; - plan and conduct animative and playful games to be offered to children attending the various school orders; - choose the most appropriate games and animation techniques to encourage the the achievement of the identified educational objectives; - launch and conduct games appropriately; - observe and evaluate gaming activities and play activities with children; - reflect on the potentialities of the game as a tool for learning

AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

The purposes of the course are:

  1. You have to know, project and manage appropriately entertaining games;
  2. You will acquire skills about effective comunication, build significant educational relationships through th use of game and entertainmenet methodologies;
  3. You will manage some dynamics about small group

TEACHING METHODS

Students will be involved and made actors of some group-works, simulations and practices (“mettiamoci in gioco”) and of the following think moment. 

We will use videos and slides to present some themes and to support activities.

Aulaweb will be useful for teacher to upload some files and for students to support your personal  path and to give some file to the group.

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

During the workshop some themes related to the Game and the Play will be studied in depth.
. We will have to deal with playful experiences about  “scuola dell’infanzia e primaria” to think about strategies, mode and tools.

Students will be involved and made actors of some group-works, simulations and practices (“mettiamoci in gioco”) and of the following think moment.

Especially we will deal with:

1) GIOCO E ACCOGLIENZA: presentation games, small and big games, create games;

2) GIOCO E APPRENDIMENTO : mathmatical games, word games,story-telling games;

3) GIOCO E ARTE: play with art

4) GIOCO E NATURA: play with nature.

Being a laboratory where the learners will be required to actively participate.

Contents are set on play base learning relating to Scuola Infanzia and game play learning relating to different subjects for Scuola Primaria.

RECOMMENDED READING/BIBLIOGRAPHY

During the workshop, material will be provided (it will also be included in the aulaweb for better sharing) useful for in-depth analysis of the themes tested to promote the circularity between practice and reflection on practice.
