The french language course aims to study main french political institutions.
The teaching of the French language initially aims to provide the student with basic language notions. Later, the student will acquire tools and a study methodology to be able, at the end of teaching, to understand and describe in French the organization, the roles of the main French political institutions and their interactions.
No requirements needed.
The teaching will take place in ways to be defined according to the health situation.
The teaching methods will be developed through written and oral exercises, individual and group, for example, reading, comprehension, summary and translation of specific texts.
The student's preparation will be ascertained through an oral exam on the basis of the texts indicated by the teacher. The examination procedures may vary according to the health situation.
The first part of the course will be devoted to a review of basic grammar.
The second part will concern French political institutions, in particular: the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Government, Parliament, “le Conseil d’Etat”, “le Conseil constitutionnel”, the principles of justice, civil, criminal and administrative courts.
The texts supporting the lessons will be taken from French institutional websites and will be provided by the teacher during the lessons. This material will be sufficient to take the exam, for both attending and non-attending students.
