    OVERVIEW

    9 CFU course divided into Theoretical module (taught by E. Errico) and Lettorato (taught by Morena C. Lanieri).

     

    AIMS AND CONTENT

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

    The course aims at providing sound communication skills in Spanish, with special emphasis on constrastive analysis between Spanish and Italian.

    AIMS AND LEARNING OUTCOMES

    THEORETICAL MODULE: acquisition of knowledge and skills related to language variation in the Spanish speaking world. Development of communication skills suitable to different settings, even multicultural. 

    LETTORATO: C1 Target Level in Spanish according to the Common European Reference Framework. The course aims to  consolidate the linguistic-communicative competence, also in terms of metalinguistic analysis and pragmatics; it allows to achieve not only good comprehension and production skills (both oral and written) but also to communicate interactively in a fluent and spontaneous way.

    SYLLABUS/CONTENT

    THEORETICAL MODULE (only for students requiring 9 ECTS): sociolinguistics and pragmatics of language variation in Spanish speaking communities. An introduction to interactional sociolinguistics: orality. Colloquial Spanish.

    EXAM DESCRIPTION

    THEORETICAL MODULE (for students with 9 CFU).

    A written test with open-ended questions. 

    LETTORATO (for all students):
    The exam consists of two parts: written and oral.

     

    ASSESSMENT METHODS

    Theoretical module: the ability to critically apply the readings will be tested, as well as correctness and adequacy in written academic Spanish.

     Lettorato: written tests will check reading comprehension and written expression, as well as lexical, morphosyntactic and grammatical skills to reach a C1 competence. The oral test will check expression and oral interaction skills on current topics addressed during the course in the classroom.

    The following will be taken into account for the assessment and the final grade:

    - the ability to identify relevant information in a text and paraphrase its structure;

    - fluency and correction;

    - cohesion and discursive coherence;

    - lexical mastering;

    - personal critical and argumentative contribution.

    26/05/2022 09:00 GENOVA Scritto + Orale L'esame scritto del Lettorato di Lingua Spagnola III si terrà in presenza, secondo le recenti disposizioni di Ateneo, e si svolgerà in modalità digitale in aula L (Polo), alle ore 9, il 26/05. Qualora il numero degli iscritti superasse la capienza dell'aula, verranno opportunamente organizzati dei turni. Cinque giorni prima della prova, a liste chiuse, verrà fornita tutta l'informazione al riguardo. L'esame orale si terrà l'8 giugno in aula 11 AdP, dal mattino. Gli studenti verranno convocati a coppie e a ognuna di queste verrà assegnato un orario, che verrà pubblicato il giorno successivo allo scritto. I laureandi che devono consegnare tutta la documentazione a breve scadenza, rispetto all'esame, sono pregati di segnalarlo alla docente per tempo. Eventuali cambiamenti verranno comunicati col dovuto anticipo.

    Semester 1 lessons will be taught remotely via Teams and Aulaweb platforms. Semester 2 lessons, as long as the general health situation allows it, will be taught face-to-face.
