LEARNING OUTCOMES

The course includes two combined subjects concerning the Developmental and Education Psychology and the Sociology of Education respectively. The Developmental and Education Psychology matter aims to provide a theoretical and methodological framework for the study of development processes and to provide knowledge about the processes and mechanisms underlying the psychological development and about the factors that influence it. The Sociology of Education matter aims to provide the basic tools for a sociological reading of educational processes, specially extracurricular. The aim of the course is the development of the critical spirit and the ability to read educational and scholastic phenomena beyond stereotypical and prejudicial visions and interpretations.
