The aim of the course is twofold (i) to introduce the main physical properties of rocks which are of interest in geophysical surveys, in planning low enthalphy geothermal systems, and in studies of the natural radioactivity and its impact in environmental planning; (ii) to deepen some seismic methods, with particular reference to seismic reflection and passive seismics
