The unit will supply students with finite element basic theoretical concepts then a multipurpose and a shipstructure dedicated FEM codes will be used to solve generic structural problems. The unit includes exercises regarding practical applications.
Ricevimento: Il docente riceve gli studenti il mercoledì mattina dalle ore 10 alle ore 12.30 presso il proprio ufficio in Villa Cambiaso. In caso di assenza o non disponibilità del docente il ricevimento verrà spostato al giovedì mattina, stesso orario.
Ricevimento: In generale lunedì e martedì, nel primo semestre ed al mercoledì nel secondo semestre (martedì alla Spezia prima e dopo la lezione), previo appuntamento via e-mail.

The candidates must enroll at least three days before the exam data on the informatic system. the results for the written part will be published on the AUlaweb portal together with the oral date.
No enrolment is needed for the oral part.
