During the Ship Propulsion Plants module the operating principles of marine propulsion for different types of ships will be presented, with particular attention to the aspects related to dynamics and control. Both the theoretical/methodological and practical aspects will be illustrated, with particular emphasis on advanced design and numerical / implementation aspects.
The course is divided in two units: 66288 Ship propulsion plants and 66289 Ship structures.
Knowledge of static methods for the design of marine propulsion. Basic knowledge of the principles of naval architecture. Principles of programming.

Ricevimento: Ricevimento online o in presenza, su appuntamento, contattando il docente via mail o MS TEAMS.
Ricevimento: Il docente riceve gli studenti il mercoledì mattina dalle ore 10 alle ore 12.30 presso il proprio ufficio in Villa Cambiaso. In caso di assenza o non disponibilità del docente il ricevimento verrà spostato al giovedì mattina, stesso orario.
