The course provides the fundamental knowledge on the plant sciences and plant ecology applied to the management, planning and design of Nature based Solutions within urban ecosystems.
The course contents are acquired through several interactive teaching methods (e.g., flip teaching, word café, etc.), also involving additional experts. For students attending classes, activities, debates, and case studies research are also included. Field activities and surveys in urban green areas and green infrastructure complete the activities carried out in the classroom with direct observation and identification of effective plant species.
A detailed program will be provided through Aulaweb.
