The aim of the course is to provide students with a detailed knowledge of the operating principles and system lay-out of power plants for energy conversion, such as gas turbine systems, steam power plant and combined cycles. Moreover, the course will give the basis for the plant performances calculation, system behaviour understanding and plant management knowledge, with particular regard to the current national and international energy scenario.

Esame orale e discussione delle esercitazioni svolte.
Il colloquio orale verterà su una o più domande e avrà la finalità di verificare la comprensione e la conoscenza degli argomenti trattatti, la proprietà di linguaggio e la capacità di sintesi degli studenti.
Le esercitazioni di calcolo verranno valutate e discusse.
Il voto finale d'esame sarà la media delle valutazioni della prove orale e delle esercitazioni.
