Rent allowance for students living away from home – academic year 2025/26 A selection process has been launched for the 2025/26 academic year to award a housing rent allowance to students of the University of Genoa living away from home, who reside in a location other than that in which the rented property is situated, for the purpose of attending their chosen degree programme.Deadline for applications: 3 August 2026, 12:00.For further information, please read the call for applications | Click here for the English version. Clarifications PEC: you must provide a PEC address for the purposes of the competition and keep it up to date and active for the entire duration of the selection process, failing which you will beexcluded. Tenancy agreement: here is a template. Please note that:the personal details of the landlord(s) and tenant(s) must be provided, and these must match those on file with the Revenue Agency;the term must cover the entire period specified in the call for applications (January 2025 – June 2025) and must correspond to the duration stated in the registration of the deed with the Revenue Agency;the cadastral references and the address of the accommodation must be provided, and must match those on the registration with the Italian Revenue Agency;the contract must be signed;in the event that the original contract is terminated within the six-month period in question, an extension agreement or a new contract must also be submitted to cover the remainder of that six-month period. Registration with the Revenue Agency: here is a template. Please note that:the tax identification numbers of the landlord(s) and tenant(s) must be provided, and these must match those shown on the tenancy agreement;the duration must correspond to that stated in the tenancy agreement;the cadastral details and the address of the property must be stated, and must match those on the tenancy agreement;if the original tenancy agreement is terminated within the relevant six-month period, the extension agreement or the new tenancy agreement must also be registered with the Revenue Agency;Any extensions or renewals of the original contract must also be registered and documented. Rent payment receipts: receipts must be traceable, i.e. they must provide evidence of the regular payment of rent (e.g. bank transfer; paid receipts). Please note that:the amount shown on the receipt must correspond to the rent and ancillary charges specified in the tenancy agreement;the payer must be the tenant or one of the tenants named in the tenancy agreement;if the payment is made by someone other than the tenant (e.g. parents), the payment reference must clearly refer to the student’s tenancy agreement;the payee must be the landlord or one of the landlords named in the tenancy agreement;the payment reference must state the month for which the rent has been paid;where the landlord has issued their own receipts, these must be submitted with a €2 revenue stamp affixed. Pretto Cassanello Foundation Scholarships (Academic Year 2024/2025) The announcement provides for the assignment of 15 scholarships for students of the Polytechnic School and the School of MFN Sciences: no. 8 scholarships to students enrolled in Engineering Study Courses; no. 4 scholarships to students enrolled in Architecture Study Courses; no. 3 scholarships to students enrolled in Study Courses of the School of Science MFN (Degree Course I level and Specialised/Master's Degree in Computer Science (DIBRIS) as detailed in the announcement. The application to take part in the competition must be made by using the dedicated modulo. Deadline: extended to 29 May 2026 (new deadline for submitting applications).
