Course Council Coordinator

What does

He is in charge of carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations:

  • coordinates the committees and those responsible for the activities of the Course of Study (CdS)
  • .
  • convokes the Course of Study Council (CCS)
  • .
  • takes for approval the SUA-CdS, SMA, the RRC, student opinion analysis reports, course regulations
  • reports to the CCS the results of all the activities carried out by the Commissions and the various activity leaders
  • holds relations with the course steering committee
  • dialogues with the students and their representatives in order to improve, in harmony with the members of the various committees and all the faculty members of the course, the cultural and educational offerings of the CCS

Course of Study QA Committee

What does

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep management processes under control.

The QA Committee is responsible for:

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report Card (SUA-CdS)
  • .
  • analyzing and compiling the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA)
  • edit the Cyclical Review Report (CBR) and monitor the progress of proposed improvement activities
  • analyze teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires and other information sources (e.g., questionnaires from institutions or host companies)
  • analyze the report of the School Joint Committee
  • analyze reports and requests from students, faculty and technical administrative staff consistent with the procedures established by the University
  • disseminate within the CoS the culture of quality education and self-evaluation
  • monitor the indicators related to the CdS
  • predict the educational offerings planned and delivered by the CdS

Teaching Commission

What does

It deals with:

  • revising periodically the educational course based on data and indications from monitoring activities and organizing its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services
  • verify the congruity between CFUs and teaching load and progression in semesters
  • revise periodically access requirements and arrangements for midterm and final examinations
  • harmonize the programs of educational activities
  • check the completeness of information in teaching records
  • verify the adequacy of teaching facilities and student services
  • monitor student careers

What does

It deals with:

  • expressing needs from society and the world of work and culture
  • providing an opinion between the coherence of the course of study as a whole and specific training activities with the demand for training
  • clarify the strengths and weaknesses of the course and suggest strategies for improvement

Committee Members

The steering committee is "chain", that is, joint between Bachelor's Degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Master's Degree in Art History and Art Heritage Enhancement.

The committee, as far as internal members are concerned, is composed of the members of the respective QA committees of the two courses of study, and, as far as external stakeholders of the course are concerned, it provides for the following composition:

What does

It deals with:

  • examining individual study plans, verifying compliance with the educational system and congruence with the educational path of the LSC with regard to the subjects freely chosen by students

What does

It deals with:

  • examining students' past careers based on the Scheduled Offering or the CoS Ordinance and preparing the recognition resolution for the CCS

What does

It deals with:

  • promoting, collecting and managing proposals for internship/stage activities
  • providing guidance to students on the appropriateness of proposals for internships, traineeships, other creditable activities
  • organize the collection of questionnaires and opinions of institutions at which internships/internships have been conducted
  • organize, with the support of the Employment Guidance and Placement Sector, activities to promote orientation to the world of work (meetings with companies, etc.)
