Course Council Coordinator

It is responsible for:

  • carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations, among which he is the chairman of the Coordination Committee of the Course Council;
  • coordinating the committees and those responsible for the activities of the Degree Course;
  • convene the CCS;
  • approve the SUA-CdS, the SMA and the RRCs;
  • communicate to the CCS the results of the activities carried out by the commissions and the various activity managers;
  • coordinate the activities to promote the CoS.

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) system to keep the management processes under control.

Course of Study QA Committee

It deals with:

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report Card (SUA-CdS) and the Annual Monitoring Form (SMA);
  • draw up the Cyclic Review Report (RRC) and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities;
  • analyse reports and requests from students, lecturers, TABS staff in accordance with the procedures established by the University and the BoD;
  • disseminate the culture of the quality of training and self-evaluation within the school;
  • analyse the questionnaires for the evaluation of teaching, the Almalaurea questionnaires and other information sources (e.g. questionnaires from institutions or host companies, etc.). questionnaires from institutions or host companies);
  • analyse the reports of the School Joint Commission
  • check the correctness of the information in the teaching sheets;
  • monitor the indicators related to the School.

Teaching Commission

It is responsible for:

  • revising periodically the training course on the basis of data and indications from monitoring activities and organising its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services;
  • revise periodically the CFUs in relation to the teaching load and the progression in the semesters;
  • revise periodically the access requirements and the modalities for the intermediate and final examinations;
  • carry out the harmonisation of the programmes of the training activities;
  • check the completeness of the information in the teaching sheets;
  • check the adequacy of teaching facilities and student services;
  • check the paperwork for students from outside who request access to the course.

Steering Committee

It deals with:

  • expressing needs from society and the world of work and culture;
  • provide an opinion between the coherence of the study path and the specific training activities with the demand for training;
  • participate, with planned interventions, in the promotional activities of the Boards of Studies.

Commission for internalisation, internships and job orientation

It is responsible for:

  • promoting and coordinating outgoing and incoming student mobility through the
    Erasmus+ programme or other international programmes;
  • promote the internationalisation of the CoS through promotional activities abroad and the
    mobility of lecturers;
  • promote, collect and manage proposals for internship/stage activities;
  • organise the collection of questionnaires and opinions of the institutions at which internships and placements were carried out
  • organise activities to promote orientation to the world of work (meetings with companies,
    etc.);
  • organise activities for outgoing orientation towards the world of work or towards subsequent levels
    of education;
  • monitor the employment outcomes of graduates;
  • organise activities to acquire the evaluation of the stakeholders of the world of work on the
    graduates of the degree course.

Website manager

He is in charge of:

  • updating, managing and verifying the information on the CoS website;
  • checking that the transparency requirements are met.

Study guidance committee

It is responsible for:

  • organising, also in coordination with the Departmental or School Guidance Delegate and
    with the University's University Studies Guidance Sector, guidance activities with
    schools and Transversal Skills and Guidance pathways;
  • organise promotional activities for the CoS externally;
  • promote the CoS;
  • organise an annual meeting to present the figure of the electrical engineer.
