The course in brief Presentation The degree course in International and Diplomatic Sciences provides methodological, cultural and professional knowledge with an interdisciplinary character on contemporary societies, with a specific focus on internationalist and European issues. The objective is the acquisition of management, organisational, planning, reporting and communication skills in the public and private sectors of international governmental and non-governmental organisations. The double degree with the Bachelor in International and Diplomatic Sciences (Shkenca Ndërkombëtare dhe Diplomatike) of the State University Aleksandër Moisiu of Durrës (Albania) active from A.Y. 25/26 will be operative for outgoing Italian students from A.Y. 26/27. It envisages a stay at the University of Durres for the first semester of the third year. In the present a.y. 25/26 it is operative for incoming students only. Learning by doing Faculty teaching is complemented by group work on targeted content, such as Gemun, European Council and European Parliament simulations. Student mobility within the framework of international programmes, internships, credit-bearing seminars and supplementary courses on interdisciplinary topics and international politics are foreseen. In accordance with University and Department regulations, credits may be awarded for activities related to the course content. It examines issues of international and European significance, providing basic knowledge of different geographical and geopolitical areas. The course involves the in-depth study of at least two European Union languages, in addition to Italian. The traditional didactic activity is complemented by additional forms of learning, which enable the student to develop a profitable interaction with the outside world in which he or she will operate.
