Course Council Coordinator

He is in charge of carrying out the functions assigned to him by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations:

  • coordinates the committees and persons in charge of Course of Study activities
  • convenes the CdS Council
  • approves the SUA-CdS, SMA and RCRs

  • reports to the CCS on the results of all activities carried out by the committees and the various activity coordinators
  • analyses the teaching evaluation questionnaires and compiles an aggregated report for the CCS and the Joint Committee

Contact

The degree programme (CdS) has a Quality Assurance (QA) system in place to monitor its management processes.

It is responsible for:

  • compiling and updating the Single Annual Report (SUA-CdS) and the Annual Monitoring Report (SMA)
  • draw up the Cyclical Review Report (RCR) and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities

  • to analyse reports and requests from students, lecturers and administrative staff in accordance with the procedures established by the University
  • promote a culture of educational quality and self-assessment within the degree programme
  • analyse the Almalaurea questionnaires and other sources of information (e.g. questionnaires from host organisations or companies)
  • analyse the report of the Joint School Committee

Teaching Commission

Responsibilities include:

  • monitoring teaching facilities and student services
  • check the number of credits in relation to the course workload and progression through the semesters
  • review the entry requirements and the arrangements for mid-term and final assessments
  • check the information in the course descriptions
  • monitor the training programme and organise it, taking into account the requirements of facilities and services
  • harmonise the programmes for training activities

Steering Committee

in common with the Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies and the Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry

It focuses on:

  • articulating the needs arising from society, the world of work and the cultural sphere
  • to provide advice on ensuring that study programmes and specific training activities are consistent with training needs

Responsible for internships, traineeships and job orientation

Responsibilities include:

  •  organising activities to promote career guidance (meetings with companies, etc.);
  •  maintain a database of graduates’ details (subject to their consent) to send them job offers or interview invitations and to refer graduates interested in a particular position to companies

  • ensuring that transparency requirements are met

Study guidance committee

Responsibilities include:

  • organising external promotional activities for the degree programme
  • organise guidance activities for students on the Bachelor’s degree programme in Chemistry and Chemical Technologies
  • promptly provide a provisional credit recognition proposal to students intending to transfer from other campuses or other degree programmes

  • organising and conducting admission interviews for graduates in class L-27 (formerly DM 270) or 21 (formerly DM 509) with a mark below 95, or for graduates in other classes

Responsibilities include:

  • organising ongoing guidance and providing students with information on how the degree programme works, deadlines and requirements, study plans, etc.

Responsible for Departmental Quality Assurance (RAQ)

Responsibilities include:

  • promoting and coordinating outgoing and incoming student mobility through the Erasmus+ programme or other international programmes
  • to promote the internationalisation of the degree programme through promotional activities abroad and staff mobility
