Pediatric Nursing is not just a professionalizing undergraduate course, it is a lifelong path, which does not end at the end of three years. It will allow you to grow as a professional and as a person: the acquisition of intellectual, gestural and interpersonal skills will go hand in hand! On the one hand, technique, evidence-based working, research and the use of increasingly advanced technology; on the other hand, managing your own and your client's emotions.

You will learn how important it is to work as a team with other professionals, but aware of your own autonomy. You will learn in the classroom, but also alongside children and their families, sharing with them even very difficult clinical-assistance pathways. You will learn how much a smile or 'good touch' can make a difference in caring for another, and how a child's smile can let them know they are on the right track and instill strength in the professional.

You will learn decision-making strategies for planning care not only in the medium and long term, but also in the here and now, when sometimes a few minutes can make all the difference.

Pediatric nurses advocate for health, work for prevention, do not discriminate, and work in nonjudgment, in the hospital and on the ground domestically and internationally, in critical and noncritical situations.
