Course Council Coordinator

It deals with:

  • performing all the functions assigned by the University Statute and the University Teaching Regulations
  • convene the CCS and bring the SUA-CdS, the SMA, the RCRs
  • for approval
  • communicate to the ACS the results of all the activities carried out by the Commissions and the various activity managers
  • .
  • convene periodically the Teaching Commissions and the CCS and, after consulting also the students' representatives, identify the needs of the teachers and students, periodically review the training pathway on the basis of the data and indications deriving from the monitoring activities, and organise its delivery, also taking into account the needs of structures and services in agreement with the Director of the DAD
  • coordinate the committees and those responsible for the activities of the DAD

Course QA Committee

The Course of Study (CdS) is equipped with a Quality Assurance (QA) Commission to keep the management processes under control.

The course operates with and within the structures and organisational arrangements of the Department of Architecture and Design, which is entrusted with the functions listed below:

  • identify the demand for training and the training objectives
  • develop the training pathway

Course of Study QA Committee

It deals with:

  • compiling and updating, within the established deadlines, the CdS Annual Single Form (SUA-CdS)
  • managing the annual monitoring activity of the CdS and drafting the documents relating to the 5 processes provided for by ANVUR
  • edit the Cyclic Review Report and monitor the progress of the proposed improvement activities
  • analysing reports and requests from students, lecturers and TA staff in accordance with the procedures established by the University
  • disseminate the culture of the quality of training and self-assessment
  • within the CSD
  • analyse teaching evaluation questionnaires, Almalaurea questionnaires and other sources of information (e.g. questionnaires from institutions or host companies)
  • monitor student careers
  • .
  • analyse the report of the School Joint Commission, working in conjunction with the CoS representatives for the Commission itself and propose appropriate corrective actions and interventions to the CoS
  • verify the transparency requirements and the information on the CS website (teachers' CVs, teaching records)
  • implement and adopt the indications and tools provided by the University Quality Presidium

Teaching Commission

It deals with:

  • periodically reviewing the course of study on the basis of data and indications deriving from monitoring activities and organising its delivery, also taking into account the needs of facilities and services
  • verify the congruity between CFU and teaching load and the progression in semesters
  • carry out the harmonisation of the programmes of educational activities
  • revise periodically the access requirements and the modalities for intermediate and final examinations

Contact person for students with disabilities or specific learning disorders

The contact person for students with disabilities or DSA, while actively cooperating with the LOD, operates at the DAD level. Appointment and assignment of functions therefore occur at the Department level.

It collaborates with the University's Services for the inclusion of students with disabilities and with DSA in order to guarantee access to services dedicated to them, as provided for by art. 3 of the University Services Charter for students with disabilities and by Title III of the University Regulations for services to students with disabilities.

It is in charge of:

  • organizing the collection of questionnaires and opinions of the institutions at which internships and apprenticeships have been conducted
  • organizing activities to promote orientation to the world of work (meetings with companies, etc.)

Responsible for international activities

The Head of International Activities works in coordination with the Erasmus Commission of DAD and the Internationalization Commission of the Polytechnic School, of which he is a member.

She is responsible for:

  • promoting and coordinating outgoing and incoming student mobility through all international mobility programs
  • promoting faculty mobility and internationalization of the BoS through outward promotional activities
  • coordinating the activities of the Office of International Relations Architecture

Responsible for departmental mentoring activities

The Department's Head of Tutoring Activities works in coordination with the faculty liaison for the CdS, the Orientation and Tutoring Commission of the Polytechnic School and the University's In-Place Orientation and Tutoring Sector.

He is in charge of:

  • coordinating and organizing the activities of the reception tutors for the conduct of freshmen mentoring activities
  • coordinating and organizing the activities of the teaching tutors for the conduct of tutoring and didactic-integrative, preparatory and remedial activities

The Department's Orientation Officer works in coordination with the DAD Orientation and Communication Commission, the Orientation and Tutoring Commission of the Polytechnic School, the University's Undergraduate Studies Orientation Sector, the University's In-Progress Orientation and Tutoring Sector, and the University's Placement and Job Guidance Services Sector.

He is in charge of:

Inbound Orientation

  • Participating in and contributing to orientation activities for prospective students: DAD Short Course Guide, Open Week, Open Day, Orientation Fair, mock admission tests for degree programs with programmed number, Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (PCTO) (formerly Alternanza Scuola Lavoro)
  • organize activities to promote the CdS externally

Ingoing Orientation

  • individual interviews for students for orientation and re-orientation
  • Regulant Project: A common and coordinated action at the University level in order to promote a decrease in the phenomenon of dropout, through actions of specific support to students during the first year

Outbound Orientation

  • events aimed at the presentation of job and internship offers
