Verification of curricular requirements To enrol in EMMP, your previous academic career must include a minimum number of university credits (CFU) in specific academic disciplines, as indicated below:at least 18 CFU among SECS-P/07 (ECON-06/A), SECS-P/08 (ECON-07/A) and SECS-P/10 (ECON-08/A), including at least 6 CFU in SECS-P/07 (ECON-06/A) and at least 6 CFU in SECS-P/08 (ECON-07/A)at least 6 CFU among SECS-P/01 (ECON-01/A), SECS-P/02 (ECON-02/A) and SECS-P/06 (13/ECON-04)at least 9 CFU amongSECS-S/01 (STAT-01/A), MAT/06 (MATH-03/B), SECS-S/03 (STAT-02/A), SECS-S/06 (STAT-04/A), MAT/01–05 (MATH-01/A, MATH-01/B, MATH-02/A, MATH-02/B, MATH-03/A), including at least 6 CFU in SECS-S/06 (STAT-04/A) or MAT/05 (MATH-03/A)at least 6 CFU in MAT/09 (MATH-06/A)at least 6 CFU in IUS/06 (GIUR-02/B)The following are also considered admission requirements:adequate knowledge of English language, in terms of oral and written comprehension and communication, at a level of at least B1ability to use the main IT tools and software applications for business and economics► ExemptionsYou meet the above requirements and may therefore proceed directly to the assessment of the adequacy of your personal preparation, unless exempted, if you hold a Bachelor’s degree with a standard study plan in Maritime, Logistics and Transport Economics and Business (CLEAMLT), degree class L-18, or in Maritime Science and Technology, degree class L-28, Deck Officer curriculum, from the University of Genoa.You may therefore move on to step 2 to complete the registration and pre-enrolment procedure.In all other cases you must apply for verification of curricular requirements as explained below.► How to submit your application If you hold an Italian degree, you must request an assessment of whether you meet the curricular requirements by completing the application form and sending it to valutazionedeirequisiti@economia.unige.it.Please note that you may also apply for the assessment of curricular requirements if you are about to graduate and only have the final degree examination pending.► Verification outcomesOnce you have received the outcome of the verification of your curricular requirements, normally sent by email within one month of receipt of your application, please proceed to step 2 to complete your registration and pre-enrolment.► Identification of curricular requirements in the case of a foreign qualificationIf your foreign degree does not allow the curricular requirements listed above to be assessed directly, your previous studies and acquired skills will be evaluated to determine whether they are consistent with the learning objectives of EMMP. If you do not possess the required IT skills, you may acquire them by enrolling in the IT course included in the study plan of the undergraduate degree programs of the Department of Economics and by passing the corresponding exam.
