Final examination Mandatory requirements To be admitted to the final degree examination, students must have obtained all the CFU (university credits) related to the educational activities in their study plan, except those assigned to the final exam itself. The requirements set by the University are listed on this page, in the session "What to do to graduate". Remember to fill in and confirm your graduation application no later than 30 days before the graduation session. The requirements set by the Degree Program are available on the AulaWeb module dedicated to the final exam, which students must register in advance. All these requirements are mandatory. What is The final degree exam consists of the discussion of an activity carried out by the student under the supervision of one or more advisors, at least one of whom must be a member of the Degree Program Board (CCS) and a lecturer of a non-shared course, on a topic related to the study program. For the propedeutic curriculum, the activity is worth 3 CFU and consists of: (i) independently carrying out a small project in some of its phases (problem analysis, study and comparison of existing proposed solutions, proposal of a solution, implementation and verification of the proposed solution); (ii) clearly and effectively presenting the results obtained. For the technological curriculum, the activity is worth 12 CFU and consists of: (i) independently carrying out a project in all or some of its various phases (problem analysis, study and comparison of existing proposed solutions, proposal of a solution, implementation and verification of the proposed solution); (ii) producing a clear and effective report of the results obtained. The project part of the activity (point (i) above) consists either of an internship at an external organization or of an activity agreed upon with a lecturer, related to a project or an in-depth study of one of the topics covered by the study program. In both cases, 6 CFU will be recorded as final exam credits and 6 CFU as internship credits. The discussion is a proper examination with questions and evaluation by the committee. It takes place in the period between the submission of the final report and the official graduation ceremony, on a date to be determined based on the availability of the committee members and the number of candidates. The graduation ceremony may take place on a different day from the discussion, and includes the awarding of the degree and the announcement of the final grade.
