You can only enter this course if you have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent (pre-doctoral degree, university diploma - 3 years, direct school for special purposes - 3 years) and if you meet the curricular requirements, specified below.

Did you graduate abroad?

If you graduated abroad, your application for this Master's degree course must be pre-screened via UniGeApply, which has two different deadlines:

  • fall session from 26/11/2025 to 20/03/2026, for visa applicants
  • spring session for applicants already resident in Italy.

Applicants for visas must also apply for a study visa through the Universitaly.

Carefully consult the deadlines and the international registrations page of the Welcome Office.

In order to be able to enrol in a UniGe study course in Italian, you need to prove that you have at least B2 level knowledge of Italian. To do so, you can submit a certification or take a test.

Curricular requirements

To enrol on the course, you must have obtained a degree from class L-17 (Architectural Sciences) or L-21 (Territorial, Urban and Environmental Planning) or L-25 (Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies) or the corresponding classes under Ministerial Decree 509/99, or have an Italian or foreign degree recognised as equivalent.

You may also be admitted to the course with a degree in other classes, provided that you have acquired at least 45 University Educational Credits (CFU) in the Scientific Disciplinary Sectors (SSD) indicated:

Admission to the course is also subject to knowledge of a language of the European Community other than Italian, attested by the university course or by a language certification body.
