Evaluation

The final grade results from the sum of the following:

  1. the curricular average;
  2. the praise achieved in examinations:  each praise carries an additional 0.50 points;
  3. Career regularity, with a bonus for speed defined as follows: 3 points for graduation in the summer session of the third year; 2 points for graduation in the autumn session of the third year; 1 point for graduation in the winter session of the third year;
  4. the performance of periods of study abroad, recognised by the Board of Studies, as indicated in Article 9 of these regulations;  
  5. the performance of institutional activities (student representation), subject to positive evaluation by the Board - non-cumulative- 1 point;
  6. evaluation of the final examination: from 0 to 6 points.

The final grade is derived from a single rounding of the score resulting from the sum of all the previous elements.

  • default, when decimals are less than or equal to 5
  • .
  • excess, when decimals are greater than 5
  • .

The score (0 to 4 points) is defined by:

  • adequacy in terms of content, systematic and argumentative skills:
    0 to 2 points
  • completeness and correct indication of sources and bibliography:
    0 to 1 points
  • quality of form:
    0 to 1 points

When the score reaches (or exceeds) 110, the committee may unanimously award the lode on the proposal of the rapporteur.
