Cases recognised by the course:

• Laboratories run by the Department or recognised by the degree programme and available on the degree programme’s website;
• Erasmus or Cinda placement: 2 CFU for the acquisition of 12 CFU abroad, 3 CFU for the acquisition of 18 CFU, regardless of the duration of the stay abroad. Recognition as excess credits is also permitted if the student has already obtained all or part of the credits required for other activities;
• Period of study abroad for academic reasons other than the Erasmus+ programme, for a maximum of 3 CFU, assessed on a case-by-case basis by the committee;
• Work placements and internships approved by the degree programme and the Department, totalling 3 non-divisible credits acquired over 75 hours. This criterion also applies to activities equivalent to work placements and internships carried out as part of international mobility programmes;
• Certification of language proficiency from level B2 upwards, issued by organisations recognised by UniGe. For a total of 3 non-divisible CFU (please note: the certificate used for the language assessment test for the three-year degree programme cannot be reused for the CFU for ‘Other activities’);
• Participation in academic events (conferences, congresses, seminars, training courses, etc.) subject to the following conditions: 1) the activity must have been accredited in advance by the degree programme; 2) there must be an attendance register recording your participation for the entire duration of the conference or seminar; 3) a comprehensive and detailed report on the proceedings of the conference or seminar must be drawn up, supervised and checked by the supervising lecturer (where required);
• Citizenship training courses and RAISE: a maximum of 1 credit out of the 3 credits allocated per student from those listed in Proposals for other activities;
• Post-secondary diplomas awarded by universities or university-equivalent institutions and by public bodies, certificates for courses of the same type (3 CFU, non-divisible) with confirmation of passing the relevant assessment;
• Civil Service certified and carried out at legally recognised institutions (lasting at least one year, worth 3 CFU), deemed by the Commission to be relevant to the degree programme;
• Certified work experience relevant to the curriculum in the Commission’s judgement, comprising at least one year’s duration;
• Secondary School Teaching Specialisation Programme (SSIS) and/or Training Course leading to specialisation in providing educational support to pupils with disabilities (TFA): placements undertaken during these programmes may be recognised for a total of 3 CFU;
• Representative roles on the governing bodies and committees of the degree programme, the department, the faculty and the university: a maximum of 1 CFU for activities amounting to 25 hours of attendance at meetings and sessions.
