Compile the curriculum

Like

If you are duly registered and have paid your fees, you can submit your study plan.

Log in to the online service with your credentials and complete the plan.

N.B. Remember to enter the compulsory and optional subjects provided for in the system in which you have enrolled. If you do not include all the subjects in your plan when you submit your degree application, you will not be able to proceed with your degree.

If you have any difficulties in completing your application, you can ask for support from the tutors and seek prior advice from the members of the Degree Programme Committee.

Two types of curriculum

This is the plan that conforms to the Study Manifesto, i.e. adhering to what is proposed by the course of study for each year of enrolment.

It does not have to be handed in/transmitted. The plan is not to be handed in/transmitted.

Following the completion of enrolment in the course of study, a 14-day window opens automatically in which it is possible to complete the standard study plan.

The standard study plan is then sent to the student. Once the 14-day window has expired after enrolment, it is necessary to wait for the scheduled opening windows in order to be able to fill in the standard plan.

Filling in the standard plan

  • Go to the Online Services and choose the option "Standard Study Plan".
  • .
  • Once you have viewed the study plan, and if necessary made your selection for electives or options, you will have to confirm your proposal.
  • .

STUDY PLAN WILL BE VISIBLE IN CAREER FROM THE WEEK AFTER COMPILATION.

You do not need to send your individual study plan to the Student Desk. After validation, the plan will be sent ex officio to the Study Plans Committee and inserted in your career after approval by the Course Council.

You must complete it if:

  • you wish to enrol part-time
  • .
  • you have received a resolution from the CCS to recognise a previous career
  • .
  • you wish to change your choice of curriculum (if provided for by your course)
  • you have already completed an individual plan in previous years
  • you wish to change one or more of the courses you have completed in previous years
  • . NB: Please note that such changes are exceptional in nature, may only be made once during the academic year andmust in any case strictly comply with the constraints imposed by the teaching regulations. These constraints are functional in guaranteeing the legal value of the degree. The Course Plan Committee is responsible for verifying the feasibility of the requested changes. The Course Plan Committee is responsible for verifying the feasibility of the requested changes.
  • You wish to include as a free-choice examination a course provided by a degree programme. In this case, remember to ask the appropriate desk, also by e-mail, for authorisation, which you must attach to the study plan. In the absence of this authorisation, the study plan cannot be approved.
  • you wish to submit a study plan that deviates from the provisions of the Manifesto. NB: Also in this case, bear in mind that such changes are exceptional in nature, may only be granted once during the academic year and must in any case strictly comply with the constraints imposed by the study plan. These constraints are functional in guaranteeing the legal value of the degree. The Course Plan Commission is responsible for verifying the feasibility of the requested changes. Remember, moreover, to indicate always in the notes, at the end of the compilation, the reasons for your choice.
  • .

N.B. Remember to complete the procedure by saving your individual study plan request. Requests that remain in draft form will not be considered.

Part-time curriculum

If you know you cannot devote full-time to your studies, you can choose to enroll part-time, with a decrease in the amount of tuition fees, equal to the category of partiality you choose from:

1st category - up to 15 CFUs: pay a contribution equal to 25% of the amount due
2nd category - up to 30 CFUs: pay a contribution equal to 50% of the amount due

To compile a part-time study plan you must access the compilation of an individual plan (Campusone). Each year, with the completion of the study plan, you can change the category, or decide to go back to full-time.

Part-time enrollment is not allowed if:

  • you have obtained plan approval for all the proficiency examinations in your course of study and final examination
  • you submit a study plan by including only the final exam and/or additional extracurricular educational activities
  • you unconventionally spread the CFUs required for the degree over a number of years equal to the normal duration of the course

Study plan with recognition of previous career

In case of enrollment with resolution of exam recognition following:

.
  • passage
  • option from old to new system
  • transfer from another university
  • second degree

You will not have to fill out a standard study plan, but a individual plan (CampusOne).

You will be able to fill out the individual study plan only when the Student Registrar's Office has sent you the recognition resolution. If you go beyond the deadline for completing the study plan, you will have to request a extension at the Student Desk (sportello.lettere@unige.it).

Validated teachings, as well as any exams included in the resolution as additional educational obligations (i.e., of exams to be taken as a supplement to teachings that have been recognized), do not have to be entered in the plan since the insertion will be done automatically by the Student Secretariat (studenti.uma@unige.it).

For the definition of your study plan, you will first have to check in deliberation to which year of the course you have been admitted (it is in fact possible to be admitted directly to years subsequent to the first, depending on the total number of CFUs recognized), then identify among the courses planned over the three-year period those that have not been recognized for you. At this point you are ready to fill out your proposal for the current academic year.

.

Out-of-course and old-order students

If you are enrolled off-course (with a full 180/120 CFU plan) and wish to make changes to your study plan, you must:

  1. Fill out an individual plan (Campusone)
  2. .
  3. Select the exam(s) you have inserted in previous years that you wish to remove
  4. .
  5. Enter the replacement ones in the current academic year
  6. .
  7. Ignore the warning that the credits entered may be insufficient and confirm the plan.

N.B. Part-time enrolment cannot be selected.

If you are enrolled out of course in an old DM509/99 system and wish to make changes to your study plan, you must:

  1. Fill out an individual plan (Campusone)
  2. .
  3. Select the exam(s) entered in previous years that you wish to remove
  4. Insert replacement ones, keeping in mind that.
    • 6CFU=5CFU
    • 9CFU=10CFU
    • 12CFU=10CFU
  5. Ignore the warning that the credits entered may be insufficient and confirm the plan.

N.B. Part-time enrollment cannot be selected.

N.B. If you have discontinued your studies, you will be allowed to resume your old path only if you are missing the graduation exam or 1/2 proficiency exams from completion.

If you are enrolled out of course in the old four-year system and wish to make changes to your study plan, you cannot fill out the plan online.
. You have to use the study plan modification form and draw from the list of courses activated in the current academic year taking into account that

  • 6CFU=semester exam
  • 9/12CFU=annual exam

Remember to email it to the Student Desk by the deadline.

N.B. If you have interrupted your studies, you will be allowed to resume your old path only if you are missing the discussion of your dissertation or 1/2 proficiency exams.

Change the curriculum

As a rule, it is possible to change the study plan in the autumn, at the same time as compiling the plan for the following year.

You will need to access the compilation of an individual plan, select the examinations entered in previous years that you wish to remove, then add the replacement ones along with all the others scheduled for the new academic year.

However, you can also request a change to your study planfrom 3 February to 3 March 2025. Remember that you must submit the request form to the Student Desk exclusively via e-mail by 3 March 2025.
. NB: you can only request the inclusion of extracurricular Out-of-Plan exams from the second year.

.

Cases of blocking or suspending the curriculum

  • in the absence of regular enrolment for the current academic year, completion of the study plan will be blocked
  • .
  • in the event of failure to complete the previous academic year's annual didactic assessment questionnaire, which is compulsory for students enrolled in the current academic year (Course of Study Questionnaire, which can be completed online until 31 October), the compilation of the study plan will be blocked
  • .
  • in the event of an unsuccessful test, the compilation of the study plan for the first year will be blocked (if enrolled in the first year)
  • .
  • in the case of OFAs that have not been passed, the insertion of the study plan for the second year will be blocked (if enrolled in years subsequent to year 1)
  • .
  • it is not possible to insert courses provided by Study Courses with programmed numbering without transmitting the nullaosta issued by the competent Desk
