Evaluation

Your paper is reviewed by a graduate committee, which evaluates it with a score in hundredths. The committee, appointed by the Department Director, has a maximum of 6 points available to add to the weighted and rounded average of your exam grades (expressed in hundredths).

Of these 6 points:

  • 1 point is awarded ex officio if you are a current graduate
  • 1 point is awarded ex officio if you have at least 3 exams in your curriculum passed with top marks and honors
  • 1 additional point can be awarded if you have at least 6 exams in your curriculum passed with top marks and honors
  • the remaining 3 points are available to the committee, which awards them based on the evaluation of the paper

If you spent a period of study abroad under the Erasmus program, you will also be awarded in the calculation of your graduation grade:

  • 1 point if you have finished your studies within the first year out of the program, provided that during Erasmus you have earned at least 12 CFUs
  • 2 points if you have finished the study abroad program in progress, provided that during Erasmus you have earned at least 12 CFUs
