If you are a final-year student, you must submit the thesis title submission form at least six months in advance of the session chosen for the defence.

The title entered on the form is considered provisional; the final title will be the one entered on the degree application. If you need to make substantial changes to the title – for example, if you change the thesis topic or the supervisor and/or co-supervisor – you will need to resubmit the form, which may result in the deadlines being reset.

The form, duly completed and signed by the supervisor, must be sent to the email address tesiarealettere@unige.it.

To register for your degree examination, the online application service opens approximately two months before the examination session.

The degree application is completed online via the Student Portal (UnigePass authentication is required), at the same time as completing the AlmaLaurea questionnaire.

The graduation application approved online by the lecturer DOES NOT need to be submitted to the Student Services Desk, nor is it necessary to submit the receipt confirming completion of the AlmaLaurea questionnaire.

By the deadline for the degree application, please remember to:

Failure to register your exams and other academic activities does NOT prevent you from confirming your degree application online; this must still be done by the specified deadline.

However, to graduate, you must ensure that everything is recorded online.

You can check your status by accessing the Degree Dashboard.

The completion of the teaching evaluation questionnaires is an important tool for identifying any critical issues and weaknesses in degree programmes.

If you are a student in good standing, you can complete the annual teaching evaluation questionnaire for your degree programme at the end of each academic year.

N.B. The annual evaluation is not available to students who are behind in their studies.

You may only submit your application for a degree after completing the annual teaching evaluation questionnaire (unless the deadlines have passed: in which case there will be no delay).
