What will you study The first year is devoted to basic education, common for all three-year Economics degree programs, with which you begin to understand the logic of businesses, organizations and the markets in which they operate. The economics teachings help you understand how economic systems work, both at the general level (macroeconomics), at the level of individual firms or consumers (microeconomics), and from a historical perspective. Business economics teaching, on the other hand, introduces you inside the world of business and how it works. During the second year you deepen your knowledge of economics and business through the study of government intervention in the economy, some managerial aspects of business, related to the administrative accounting decisions of businesses, as well as approaching the world of finance and its players. Throughout the two-year course you also study the legal aspects of the business world and the quantitative tools for understanding and using different economic and management models, complemented by language and computer skills. The third year is devoted to the specialized and professionalizing teachings of the chosen curriculum: general economics curriculum, in which you delve into international economics, health economic and taxation policies, labor economics and environmental resource management, and strengthen your knowledge in quantitative and legal financial economics curriculum, in which you study the workings of the securities market and financial investment valuation tools, the economics of credit companies and taxation, as well as the duties of the finance function within business management.
