Who should conduct the Verification

How to access

To be admitted to the course, you must pass a requirements assessment. You will need to upload the following documentation to the UniGe Online Services portal by the deadlines specified by the Course. The Committee will evaluate the adequacy of your career and preparation based on the following criteria and scores established by the Course.

For all applicants

  • graduation certificate including the list of exams taken (Transcript of Records) containing the educational objectives of each
  • curriculum vitae
  • documents proving English language proficiency:
    - B2 certificate
    - bachelor's degree/master's degree taught in English

    If you do not have any certification and do not fall under the above cases, the requirement can be fulfilled by passing the B2 test provided by the University's Language Skills Development Sector - CLAT. You can register for the CLAT B2 English test, which is free for prospective Computer Engineering students.

Only for foreign applicants

  • certification of knowledge of the Italian language equal to level B1.

    . Failure to possess the certification will not prevent enrollment, but will result in the need to include at least one exam dedicated to learning the Italian language during the course.
  • a brief description of the university at which the academic degree(s) was obtained and the syllabus of the degree courses obtained

How it works

Based on the documentation, the Commission will assign different scores:

  • adequate knowledge of the Italian language (admitted/not admitted)
  • .
  • academic potential (grade point average, class grade, GPA...: maximum evaluation 50)
  • relevance of bachelor's degree (maximum assessment 30)
  • quality of the university that awarded the bachelor's degree (maximum rating 20)
  • other aspects of your Curriculum Vitae (other educational qualifications, work experience, professional qualifications, motivation letter, cover letter, etc.) (maximum rating 10)

If you obtain a score of 85 or above, you will be admitted to the master's degree program in computer engineering.

  • Thursday 16 May registration from 17 April, by 9 a.m. on 6 May 2024
  • Thursday 13 June registration from 17 May, by 9 a.m. on 3 June 2024
  • Wednesday 26 June registration from 27 May, by 9 a.m. on 17 June 2024
  • Thursday 19 September registration from 19 August, by 9 a.m. on 9 September 2024
  • Thursday 21 November registration from 21 October, by 9.00 a.m. on 11 November 2024
