Theories of justice mod. 1: Some theories of justice in contemporary legal-political culture. Definitions of “justice”, principles and moral values assumed as justification criteria of social and legal order. mod. 2: Distributive policies Law as system of resources - and particularly rights - allocation; the relationship between law and market.
Frontal lessons
The course has the following topics: the analysis of some fundamental concepts of political philosophy; the study of the main contemporary theories of distributive justice, with specific reference to ones which have, as a subject matter, legal systems and public institutions.

Oral examination
It is request to attending students, whose learning level is also verified in the classroom, that they understand and memorise the contents presented by the teacher, and develop autonomous argumentation about ethical and meta-ethical questions treated in the lessons.
It is request to not attending students that they understand and memorise the main conceptual and normative questions treated in the reference book, and express them properly.
