The course covers the fundamental concepts of microeconomics.
The course aims to provide students with the basic tools to understand and develop specialist economics.
The course aims to teach the theory of rational choice of economic agents and its outcomes in an economy characterized by different forms of competition (perfect competition, monopoly, oligopoly ...). On this basis, students can better understand the content of macroeconomics, economic policy, public economics.

The written exam consists of exercises and open questions on specific points. The examination aims to assess the assimilation of the contents by the student, with regard to: the definition of the conceptual categories; the technical aspects of the discipline; the ability to apply what they learn to real cases.
