OVERVIEW

The Course is designed to provide students a solid knowledge about Unit Operatons employed in gas solis separation (with particular reference to particle removal from atmospheric emission) and heat transfert equipment

SYLLABUS/CONTENT

Particle Collection Mechanisms, Gravity and inertial separators, Fabric Filter, Elecrtostatic precipitators, Wet Scrubbers.

Heat tansfert: Fundamentals, Type of  heat exchanger, design criteria, The e-NTU, and MTD Methods,  Condensation, Boiling, Evaporation
