There will be two courses of 32 hours each with a compulsory attendance of 80%. The second year laboratory is a continuation of the first year laboratory. The same material and teaching methods will be used.
The second year laboratory picks up where the first laboratory left off. The lessons and exercises will consolidate all the principal language skills, building on vocabulary and aspects of grammar with particular emphasis however on oral production and authentic pronunciation. The goal is to arrive at a B1+ level at the end of the two years, thus providing a solid base from which to work towards the B2 level by the end of the five year course, which will in turn enable students to teach English competently in nursery and primary education
The lessons will be in English using traditional teaching methods such as roleplay and pairwork. Students are encouraged to actively participate in the lessons
The lessons and exercises will consolidate all the principal language skills, building on vocabulary and aspects of grammar with particular emphasis however on oral production and authentic pronunciation. There will also be written assignments and listening exercises
