The course aims to provide the basic concepts of health management in view of the Italian National Health Service, with particular reference to the departmental organization .
The educational objectives include knowledge of the role of managers at various levels of the national health service, knowledge of the foundations of health promotion and clinical risk.
At the end of the course the student will: 1. Know and understand the organizational and economic contexts of the National Health Service.
2. To know and to apply the principles of health promotion.
3. Know the departmental organization and the district.
4. Know the functioning of of the Prevention Department.
5. To understand the complexity in healthcare and clinical risk.
6. To know and to apply the rules and procedures to prevent nosocomial infections.
7. To know and to apply the practice of sanitation and disinfection.
