The goal of the course is to improve the knoledge of the students on the civil work in hydro management, water supply, hydroelectic energy production and rural irrigation. One of the focus is to improve the use of the possible new technologies to preserve the quality of the water and to reduce the contamination of the environmental. At the end of the course the students should be able to define at a general level a project to realise a plant.
The main goals are to study the mechanical elements necessary in a project of an hydroelectic plant, or a water supply system.
lesson and technical workshop
Evaluation of the water resources in terms of discharge in a river , in well or for other possilbe source of water (sea, treated water ..). This part of the course is focused on teh creation of DB, analysis of the data and validation of the estimation done.
General mechanical and civil criteriors to realize civil work relevant to a breaking structure, a channel or dam.
General approach to evaluate the reliability of the hydric systems in different conditions
Analysis of the principal elements inside hydro power plants with particular attention at the environmental aspects and hydrrological balance at scale of the catchement
