From the age-old debate about nature and culture , they will face the issues of variability , differentiation , adaptation , ecology and the multiple cultural strategies developed in time and space from the different human populations .
The anthropological approach to the study of podiatry science is the educational objective of this teaching module , as a precondition to the morphological and physio - pathological knowledge of the foot that the student must acquire .
The course 's main objective is to make the student able to address the issues concerning the various aspects of human evolution , with particular reference to the acquisition of upright posture , the " foot of the ancestral theory " and encephalization process. Will also provide the essential concepts for the knowledge of the health care systems of different human populations.
