Course description
The course aims to introduce students to destination management and marketing, organizations engaged in tourism and characteristics and problems associated with running a firm in tourism. Major topicsof the course are: strategy, marketing, the use of the Internet, pricing and managing staff in hotels, tour operators, cruise lines.
Traditional lectures are integrated with readings from economic press and individual/group works, business cases discussion
If foreign students choose to study the ordinary syllabus in Italian, they can refer to the above sections in this document. Otherwise, an English syllabus will be provided on request.
