This short course will provide knowledge about and, therefore, to acknowledge the presence of any disease of the gastrointestinal system in the patient that presents himself to dental hygienist, after oral examination and medical history.
Interpretation skills of symptoms, ability to suggest any further investigations and ability to interpret the reports of medical scans taken in a vision by the patient.
The course consists of ten lectures and, for the students who want it, the opportunity to attend the structures of Gastroenterology chair.
The course consists of ten lessons, each of which will address the pathophysiology of the gastrointestinal tract and related glands to the latter.
