OVERVIEW

Course description

The course aims at providing the main statistical tools for tourism data analysis. The main topics are primary data collection (survey methodologies), statistical descriptive analysis of supply and demand in tourism. Part of the course will be dedicated to the use of statistical software.

Lectures, computer lab lectures, case studies, homework and group work.

Students that attend the course will be evaluated according to:

  1. A written exam
  2. A project work
  3. An oral exam

Students that do not attend the course will have to prepare a brief thesis on one of the main topics of the course instead of the project work.
