First, ethics is intrinsecally linked with economic rationality. Second, firms not only produce goods and services for the market but also internal and external relationships between persons. As a consequence, corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a way both to understand the firm's nature and to manage it in a perspective of common good and sustainability. After presenting these assumptions, the course explores the main topics related to CSR governance, management and tools.
