The module of Histology, in the context of the C.I. of Anatomy and Histology, aims to integrate the knowledge of "functional histology" and cell biology by aiming to provide students with knowledge about the organization of cells and human tissues with particular attention to the connection between morphology and function.
Recognition of histological structures
The student must acquire the ability to observe and then describe with suitable language what the observation has revealed; in the specific case, what has been found by the observation microscopic.
Observation of histological preparations by optical microscope and monitors connected with optical microscopes
Vision and recognition of histological preparations:
Epithelial tissue

SPECIAL HISTOLOGY
Practical test by the use of microscope.
At the end of the course students will sustain a practical test by the use of microscope.
The acquisition of knowledge and the skill(s) in employing it will be checked through the recognition
and the description with a suitable language of histological preparations
