Interactive teaching through slides of issues in the field of Internal Medicine.
- To acquire knowledge about diseases commonly treated in internal medicine. - To acquire a method of reasoning about the pathophysiological and clinical issues in Internal Medicine. - Acquire autonomy in learning, also using Databases such as PubMed.
- Lectures with slides. - Interactive lessons, questioning students about anatomical and pathophysiological knowledge they already have from previous years.
Objective signs in diseases. Body temperature changes: hyperthermia, fever; dyspnoea, and cyanosis; edema; ascite; jaundice; hemorrhages; impairment of digestive functions: anorexia, dysphagia, nausea and vomiting, dyspepsia, constipation and diarrhea; diabetes mellitus; diabetic foot screening.
