Clinical Governance is a global approach to healthcare management focused on people's needs. Doing the right thing, at the right time, at the right place is the synthesis of the concept of quality. Tools such as guidelines and assistance based on efficacy testing, clinical risk management, information systems, training, team integration and performance evaluation, are used to achieve this goal.
The goals of rehabilitation are “to gain health" and to see the person with disability and limitation of participation no longer as "ill", but as a "person with rights". Therefore, the task of rehabilitation is to define the "person", then to accomplish all the health interventions needed to reach the person, in the light of the actual empowerment, the conditions of the highest possible level of participation in relation to his / her own will and context. Through the Clinical Governance and its tools, the health and non-sanitary components of the rehabilitation work are synergistic.
